Two years ago we purchased a 1979 Sovereign 31 ft. Airstream.  After buying new tires and greasing the axles, we towed it to the factory in Jackson Center.  We essentially gutted it, having all the propane lines, furnace, heating ducts and plumbing removed.  A new toilet and plumbing lines were installed. The unit  was then converted to an all electric model. 

Next, we towed it to Hendersonville and employed Jimmy Cates of Twisted Silver Airstreams.  Susan designed a floor plan for the active lifestyle of two adults and two Springer Spaniels.  She and Jimmy created an industrial look using diamond plate, industrial fixtures, and a laminate floor.  This is a work in progress, with final detailing occurring over the winter of 2009.
